Dear friends
of Come Rest,
The Lord’s return draws near. We must draw nearer to Him and let Him
shepherd us like never before. Our ministry has been on alert praying Psalm 64
and living Matthew 6:25-34 throughout June. We were awaiting further instructions
on June 30th. We believe we have heard the Lord speak and confirm
the following for Come Rest Ministries through the end of August. Please consider
living this and sharing this with your families, your friends, your churches. We
are to…
1.
Continue
praying a Psalm 64 “prayer shield” over the priesthood of all believers. Now
more than ever.
2.
Continue living
Matthew 6:25-34. I have memorized it and am now speaking His words over myself
and others in prayer. Please try it.
3.
Begin
meditating upon Psalm 23. Go over it “line by line.” We suggest you make one
verse your focus per week. Memorize it. Pray it. The Lord is waiting to reveal
Himself and His plans as we do this. Ask for divine appointments with family
and friends to witness to them
concerning your Psalm 23 verse of the week and pray for them according to the
verse as He leads.
4.
Begin
meditating upon James 4 and doing what He says there! Draw closer to Him and He
will draw closer to you.
The Supreme Court of the US has once again made a decision in open
rebellion against God’s Word. There will be consequences. Let’s make sure that
the greatest consequence is unprecedented repentance, rest, and fruitfulness in
the Body of Christ! We must cast our cares upon the Lord; we must each repent
of our own sin and come up into higher purity, clarity and charity; we must
each repent before the Lord and ask for mercy for our wayward nation, churches,
family members, friends, and enemies. Surely the Lord will use what was meant
for evil as a goad to prompt His people into His purifying fire of love!
Remember, we must be people of good report like Caleb. There are indeed
giants in the land and fortified cities, but we are well able to come up and
take the land! Jesus reigns! Let Him reign in you, let the Holy Spirit rein you
in! Let Him shepherd you with repentance, rest, and real fruit!
Enjoy your life with the Lord each wonderful day! He is looking forward
to all He will do with your life! Join Him in the joy!

us your prayer requests. One dear woman experienced Jesus’ healing touch at our
last Fountain Friday and is bringing her friend this Friday expecting a miracle
healing! Jesus’ reigns!
We are looking forward to this Sunday when our joyful grandson Caleb
Richard Spinden will be dedicated at River of Life! In Jesus’ name we declare little
Caleb will become a lionhearted man of God who will lead the Lord’s people to
come up and take the land in adventurous times!
