Dear
Friends of Come Rest,
· Feeling especially grateful to be alive
in Christ today. No doubt because I’ve been memorizing Philippians 4:4-13 the
last few days and opening my conversation with the Lord each morning with Psalm
63. His Spirit picks me up each time I pick up His Word and put it in my heart.
I am so grateful for how patient and merciful He is with me when I don’t seek His face and don’t listen for His
voice. I am so grateful for how patient and merciful I am with others when I do seek His face and do listen for His
voice. What a concept!
· I am so grateful for all of you who
pray for us and give financially to the Lord for our mission. We can’t do it
without His help through His people. Many more of His people and His shepherds
are coming to us weary, thirsty, hungry for Him. Praise God!
