“Therefore,
since we are receiving a kingdom that can not be shaken, let us have grace; to
serve God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear. For our God is a consuming
fire” Hebrews 12:28-29
Dear friends of Come Rest,
Our theme scripture for this year is stated above. I continue
to hear the Spirit saying “consuming fire, make ready for miracles.” The Lord
is moving to shake everything in your life that is not of Him. As you turn away
from those things, He will burn them up in the consuming fire of His loving
presence with you—lifting you into miraculous living. I continue to hear Him
saying “Come up! Do not settle for anything less than Me…and the life I have
for you. Learn from Me to stay with Me in the secret place throughout each day
in all your relationships, each present moment.” It is clear that we are being invited to come
up into Consuming Fire.
Let’s do this.
